"This is an action filled anime with a very rich storyline."

Bleach is about a high schooler named Ichigo Kurosaki. Ichigo has orange hair, so he has been treated like an outcast of some sort ever since he was young. Ever since Ichigo was young he has been able to see ghosts when nobody else has. He has a wacky father who is always over exaggerating everything, one sister who is gloomy about everything, and one who is upbeat, responsible, and acts like the mother sometimes. One night, he meets a shinigami (Death God) named Rukia Kuchiki and his life is changed from there. They become very close friends and Ichigo becomes a temporary shinigami that is charged with the responsibility to do what all shinigami do: Protect the real world from the Hollow. The Hollow are creatures that are born of people who have died but because something holds them back from a peaceful death, thier souls remain in our world. Eventually as time goes on, the souls are gradually turned into hollows. Ichigo lives in Karakura Town: a town that for some reason attracts a lot of hollows. He goes to school with all his friends. Chad is the big guy in the group who is the big but silent type. He doesn't like fighting but will do anything to make sure his friends aren't hurt. Orihime Inoue is the girl who likes weird stuff and who cares deeply about Ichigo. Ishida Uryuu is the last Quincy: a race that hates shinigami and was battling them for centuries before they were massacred in a trap. He and his friends from school fight against the hollows in an never ending struggle to protect this world.
