"excellent storyline...rocking music...beautiful display of sword fighting skills"

Kurosaki Ichigo-the primary protagonist of the storyline has an inherent ability to see ghosts . In an attempt to save his sister from the ghosts(so called hollow),he gains the power of death god from one in a bizarring incident. however he must realise his power and call forth his sword(zanpakuto)and develop his power as shinigami(death god), however he is transformed to neither a shinigami nor a hollow......the manga unfolds many mysteries as it advances...the writer masterfully sneaks the interest of everyone. the music is superb and also the animation.
the anime has bring forth new ideas of God and ghosts and created an excellent thriller.
i will call it a masterpiece of the writer Kubo.
anime series containing the subject of death god are "death note" however after seeing this you view will change regarding death gods.
