"One of The best."

I found Air Gear while overseas in Japan, and I have become hopelessly addicted to it. The series follows a linear plotline, of the rise of an intensely talented, though clumsy at the same time, hero. The character development in this series is fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen. Ikki, the main protagonist, exemplifies determination, and willpower by never backing down from a challenge, and never letting his fear get the best of him. Along the way you meet more and more characters each with their own quirks. Buccha Fats, for example, is a human tank, yet as is the most peaceful guy in the series. The action in the series, though not a "fighting" anime like Dragonball Z or Yu Yu Hakusho, is second to none, and keeps you on edge. While watching this series, I found myself unable to look away from the screen, even for a second. A captivating tail, of a true goof, destined for greatess. He rises from school badass to legend, and captured my heart at the same time. My only complaint with the series is that there are so few episodes.
